So, where do you go with the camera when you haven’t been out for a while? Cape Spear of course. I had Angus with me and the digital rebel with a bad battery. It did not make for a good combo as every time I turned the camera on Angus got stopped to pose for pictures and the camera battery died a little more. At the end of it all Angus posed for about 60 pictures and I got to take 12 before the battery went dead. So here are 2 of them:    

Just posting a picture so that we have new content. This was taken on one of the road trips. I’m not sure where or when….. I’m not even sure why!

An image of Angus that was taken in Flatrock. Angus was extremely underexposed in this image and I was going to just delete it, but I liked the pose so I tried to save it. Here is the final image, I think it came out pretty good.

Wow, back to back posts from the geeks!! All we need now is geek #3 to post something….. maybe a fence shot?? We travelled from Pouch Cove   to The Cape Shore. Talk about having no idea where to start and where we will end up!! Lucky for us we decided against shovelling our way down to Cape St. Mary’s as we may have still been there!! On to the pictures I guess. Here’s  another from early morning in Pouch Cove ( I think)…    All the while I was out I kept an eye out for anything yellow to capture for a photo challenge on another forum. There were lots of yellow houses, but the crayola blue trim was just to over the top!! Here’s what I managed to get.     All my hard work was for nothing though as the yellow photo challenge was over buy the time I made it online to post!!Stay tuned for more pictures from this road trip as I got a feeling it may be a few weeks before I get out again….. but I can always take pictures of Angus in the backyard and post those,  maybe Akida the yorkie or even the 2 cats spooning on the chair if I get really desperate for a picture!! I’m even thinking about hunting down the location of the new X-Files movie and get some pictures there . 

We headed down to the gut for some night pictures. Only managed to get a couple as the rain steadily increased in intensity!!

Nestled comfortably in beautiful Conception Bay, the Port de Grave Peninsula stretches 10 kilometres out into the ocean that it has depended on for centuries. Made up of several small communites, Port de Grave Peninsula consists of Bareneed, Black Duck Pond, Otterbury, Ship Cove, Blow Me Down, Hibb’s Cove, Pick Eyes, and Hussey’s Cove with a total population of just under 800.
